Cool picture. Did the squirrel survive? My guess is he's a gonner.

We have Red Tail hawks around us and Bald Eagles and Osprey. Got a story about Eagles and fishing.
Several years ago my son and I were fishing the Bitterroot River just below our house. We were wading the river in shorts and old gym shoes and weren't having much luck. Suddenly just to our right this big old Bald Eagle comes swooping in....10 foot wing span in glide position........talons ready for the kill. Right in front of the tip of my spinning rod old Baldy puts his landing gear in the water, revs up his wings giving me a nice breeze and takes off with a nice Rainbow Trout. My son throws his rod in the river (all 0f 3 feet deep) and walks off. Last thing he says is..."Dad, we gotta learn to fly like that." True story.
