Aaron Rodgers hasn't had time to even throw a quick slant. The D is on him before he can even THINK of what to do.
And the few times he had time, the receivers dropped the dang ball.
I never saw so many drops form guys that are supposed to be some of the best.

West coast offense doesn't audible much at all, never has. They check from run to pass or the otherway depending on the coverage. Have hot routes for blitzes. When the defense is getting pressure with 4 you don't check to the hot route.

The problem I see is that McCarthy has been bad at scripting the beginning of the game. He has done nothing to help the offense start clicking.

When you just give up on the run after the first series, something is wrong
with the coaching on this team. The reason Aaron gets sacked every other play is because the defense has no worry that Mike McCarthy will call a run.
6 sacks and no back in the backfield to even help in protection..saddddd

Fact is the play calling is atrocious and that is all on MM.
I still cannot understand for the life of me why he abandons
a sucessful running game week in and week out, placing Rodgers
in unrealistic passing situations. Even after multiple sacks
he doesn't even have a single back in the backfield to help with
protection. If I can see how this exposes our O-Line and Rodgers,
I am damn sure opposing D's see it clearly.

The fact that you only appear on this board to complain, twebdonny, and you are invisible when this team does well makes your motives suspect in my book.

So....that means that you think Mike McCarthy is doing a good job? I am just stating
my opinion based on what I have seen since day one of MM's term. He is not the man for the job.

ps: the poll should have "coach" as an option for the Packer's weakest link....

I didn't say I think McCarthy is doing a good job -- my thoughts on that issue are irrelevant to the topic at hand. I'm just saying you're invisible when things go well, which makes your persona here seem one sided.

You're not alone, though. Traffic on this site skyrockets when the Packers lose and is very quiet following Packers victories. I find that unfortunate.

So we'll just fire McCarthy and Holmgren will stroll on in and everything's peachy, huh?

Sure. That makes perfect sense.

beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.

beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
