They were covered, at least for much of the time. If you find a DB that can stick with a receiver for 7+ seconds, sign that guy up - such things don't exist. The coverage was okay - not stellar, but okay - Favre had way too much time to pick it apart, though.

That happened one time last night. Don't make it sound like the WR had 7 seconds everytime, that's simply not true.

I will go with that the lack of pressure made the DB's job's harder.

The defense didn't lose this game, Rodgers didn't lose this game.. the offensive line and their performance have now cost us two games. Lombardi avenue, you listening?

I would say the loss is on both the offensive line and the defense. We couldn't cover their receivers at all. I was surprised at all the wide open opportunities Favre had. I thought for sure our guys would be all over the the passes thrown. They weren't even close. This loss is really stinging me.

That's true. I was being too unrealistic with my comments. Favre wasn't pressured enough and had all day so naturally receivers got open.

Wood is right, they played more aggressive D in preseason, seems to me like the coaches are scared. An there were times last night when Kampman looked absolutely lost, he needs to rush the passer.
