Sorry Folks the threads disappear and get melded into a convuluted mess in this part of the board few will ever find.

Since the moderators feel the Packers aren't included in the NFC playoff picture, I guess it makes sense to someone to bundle a season's worth of thread pages here.

Because this is hidden here and doesn't relate to the Packers I am including the AFC now.

WEEK 3

NFC
1st Round Bye
1) NO Better Strength of Victory Than the Giants and Purple Slime
2) NYG More Conference Net points than Purple Slime

Division Leaders
3) MN Better Record and head to head win over 49'ers
4) SF Division Winners are ahead of Wild Card teams regardless

Wild Card Teams
5) GB Better Strength of Victory than Falcons
6) ATL Better Conference Winning % than Cowboys
Note both Wild Cards would be ahead of 49'ers if SF not a division leader.

Teams out of Playoff position
7) DAL Better Conference Winning % than Bears
8) ChI Better Strength of Victory than Eagles
9) PHI Better Winning % than DET, SEA, WAS. AZ
10) DET Better Strength of Victory than Seahawks
11) SEA More Conference Net Points than Redskins
12) WAS Better Conference Record than Cardinals
13) AZ Better Winning % than TB, CAR, STL
14) TB More Conference Net Points than Panthers
15) CAR Higher Strength of Schedule than Rams
16) STL

AFC

1st Round Byes
1) DEN Greater Strength of Schedule than Jets
2) NYJ Greater Strength of Victory ratio than Ravens

Division Leaders
3) BAL More Conference Net Points than Colts
4) IND Greater winning % than Chargers

Wild Card Teams
5) SD Better Conference Record than Bengals
6) CIN Greater Conference Net Points than Patriots

Those out of Playoff position
7) NE Greater Winning % than Jaguars
8) JAC Greater Strength of Victory than Steelers
9) PIT Better Conference Record than Raiders
10) OAK Greater Strength of Schedule than Texans
11) HOU Better Conference Record than Buffalo
12) BUF Greater Winning %
13) CLE Higher Strength of Schedule than Dolphins
14) MIA Higher Strength of Schedule than Chiefs
15) KC Higher Strength of Schedule than Titans
16) TEN

After each I gave the level of the tiebreaker need to surpass the team below each listing.

Now if you really have a sense of humor, the race for the #1 draft pick next year:

1) Rams
2) Titans
With the Bucaneers, Chiefs, and Panthers tied for 3rd.

Whichever team loses Monday at the Metrodome will have a huge fall in playoff positioning. Who knows the moderators may be right in thinking the Packers will not be included in the playoffs.

Thank you all who manage to stumble upon this thread.

If you have an issue, PM me. This cheap shot stuff is beneath you.

I put your thread here because I don't want a lot of stickies and announcements in the Packers section. There are a few items that I want clearly visible over all else. If that does not sit well with you, I apologize.

As for your playoff seedings. I feel they are very intersting and thus made it a sticky in the NFL Discussion because it also mentioned the rest of the NFC.

I appreciate the work you've done for this and thank you for it. I'm looking forward to it each week.

What the heck is this supposed to mean? The title of the thread is "NFC Playoff Seedings," not "Packers Playoff Seedings." Therefore, it belongs precisely in the area where it has been placed -- NFL Discussion. Besides, it's a hell of a lot easier to follow trends like these when all the information is consolidated in one area (ala MassPackFan's power rankings sticky from last year), rather than having to sort through a bunch of independent threads that continue to sink with traffic and never get the attention they deserve.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
