Had a full physical. I've been having some problems since the heart surgery. So the doc ordered a ton of bloodwork. They filled up at least a half a dozen vials of blood. He's checking EVERYTHING!
Of course i got the old "This isn't going to feel too good" as he shoved what felt like his whole hand up my butt. When he was finished I said to him "Now that that's over.......are you going to take me out for lunch?"
That got him laughing!
I asked him if everything checked out ok up there. He said it seemed to be ok.
Honestly.......he was so far up there, i felt a tickle in the back of my throat!

Geez.......I hope they don't find anything wrong. I've had enough of hospitals.
Of course he wants me to get the colonoscopy. Oh goody goody........"YOUTUBE" here I come!!! :thumbright:

Do you have the same conversations with your docter every year? Lol.

Anyway, I hope everything will be fine. Or that it's just something small. Something you can just work on yourself. Obviously, it's not what you want, but if that'd get all of the pain etc. away, it might be a blessing in disguise.

Cheesey.....my friend, be well. I hope its nothing major.

Hand up the butt :pottytrain2: ....I dread the day that doctor visit comes for me....had a catheter once and I really do not like stuff like that. Good to have humor about it.

Now....to be fair......i haven't been with this doctor for about 5 years. I had to switch because of insurance changing. Now though, I was able to go back to him. He's a very stoic guy, so making him crack up is fun. Before his "insertion", I sighed loudly and said "Ahhhh.......FAMILY!" (as he is kind of like seeing long lost family) He's just a great doc, and you can tell he REALLY cares about you. (Not like my last doc seemed)

Hmmm......the scar down my chest says otherwise!
(I know you were just kidding!!!)

I had to get my flu shot.....then the lady that was taking the blood, missed the vein in my left arm. Wiggling the needle around.......finally says to me "Do you want me to keep trying, or go to the right arm?" I saod "Time for the right arm."
Finally she got the vein. She asked me if i needed to lay down.....i started laughing and showed her my scar!
She said "OH!! Then this will seem like a piece of cake!"
I said "Why yes.....I'd LOVE some cake!"

Well.....does the catheter they shoved up my wee wee when i had the surgery count?
Oh....and the 2 chest tubes they yanked out.....and the 2 wires that were in my heart that they yanked out.......no pain killer for any of the damn things they yanked out?
Ewww.......makes me shudder just to remember it. What a fun day that was!!!

I won't go into details, but a friend of mine described a certain STD treatment. He should have this talk with teenage boys. Then you'd see a lot less fooling around and a lot more monogamy. One of the scariest things I've ever heard.
