It's a concern, no kidding. What's next, you're gonna use your engineer brain to tell us the sky is blue? ;)

I'm still thinking once Mark Tauscher is done rehabbing (possibly after the Packers bye week) we should considering bringing him back for at least the remainder of the season. Any depth we can add to the line is a bonus imo.

Well that was a completely failed attempt to "stir the pot"

No worries, my purple buddy. My pot is plenty stirred. You could say that I am pissed off, even. The line has me more than irritated, the sillytalk at PPO is in it's infancy, but nevertheless is getting me going, and I bring real concerns to the table heading into Vikes week.

None of that matters. Here is why I am infuriated.

After our game ended yesterday afternoon, my presence was requested at a family (hers) gathering over at my brother-in-laws home to celebrate (combo-deal--everybody is born right now, winter was 9 months preceding)
multiple family birthdays, including my own.

This of course causes interruptions in my priorities in life...eating, candles, gifts yada yada yada between golf shots, football plays, etc.

During the eating phase of one of the interruptions, a lifelong friend of the family announces she will be going to next Monday's football game. Keep in mind she and all the other female-types have been yammering away for many minutes (My wife a ring-leader) with yours truly absolutely out of tune excepting the frequency that the Bengals Steelers game is on in the other room.

This of course causes me to instantly switch to female-babble frequency.
So I say to her, "Oh, really...What made you decide to go to that game?"
And SHE says, "Well, I'm a HUGE Brett Favre fan, and also a Vikings fan, and (female babble regarding associations, family-ties, yada yada yada)
so John Kuhn invited us to the game and we are going to meet with him after the game."

"Why do you ask, Dave?"

Family erupts in laughter.

My story, yada yada yada. Wife interjects stories yada yada yada.

So I say, "You do know that John touched the ball twice today and scored two touchdowns, don't you?"

Her:

"Oh, no, I didn't know that, is that pretty good?" A real football fan here. After all she had already told me so!

Me: "Well, you saw Brett's throw at the end I'm sure."

Her: "No, did they play today?"

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Her:

yada yada yada--- has the link to my purple barney photoshop, going to show it to him and others if she gets a chance, yada yada yada, more female-type crap...going to "hook me up" "Has a real "in" yada yada yada

Hey Kuhn. Thanks for the two touchdowns.

Thanks for giving away your tickets to Vikings fans for the matchup, and they didn't even watch you during your career performance.

That's why my pot is stirred, Vikesrule. I had to vent.

Absolutely.

I don't know about Tauscher, I think he's just about done, but there has to be someone out there. Kuhn is getting carries near the goal line, and Johnson is an absolute monster when it comes to blocking, but Hall is really only around for STs. I certainly think he's expendable, even with the added emphasis we've put on STs this year.

Tauscher to take 1 of the 3 FB's spots.

The active roster? That's a different story.
