I'm into alot of different tunes. I like anything from SOME R&B, a little bit of wholesome rap, country, rock, some hardcore stuff (Lordi, old school Korn, etc) .

I respect my elders. I bet Wade will like this one. I do.

And for Rock...This song is titled,

"Hold me, Thrill me, Kiss me" .... not: "Blow me"

Only problem with that video is it's the one song where I get bugged a bit by the white jump suit. That song should either be the leather outfit from a few years earlier, or perhaps a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Goddam Tom Parker.

Bruce Springsteen, Alter Bridge, The Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam and Rage Against the Machine are some of my favorite bands, and my most important influences as I am currently writing songs with some of my musical acquaintances (I'm a drummer).

Funny you're naming all these American bands. I'm right now listening to 69 Eyes. Recently got into them. Love H.I.M although their sound guy (when I saw them in SF) needs to be shot. And of course Nightwish is my 2nd fave band. Finland's got some great bands.

I think we've had this discussion before though. If I remember correctly, you don't like H.I.M very much.

"Packers_Finland" wrote:

Correct, I'm not really into finnish bands that much, the black metal stuff is just too much, not a big fan of 69 Eyes or H.I.M., but Nightwish is ok. If you like metal though, check out a band called Kiuas (you can find their songs on youtube, just type "Kiuas - Warrior Soul" to get started) that's the best band from Finland.

I love Nightwish! :thumbright:

They're my second favorite band after Judas Priest. Epica is in my top 25 fave bands.

I'm a Metalhead.

Oh, I'm bummed I never saw Nightwish with their original singer. I did see them on their last tour, but it's with the new singer. She's good, but she's more pop, not at all operatic.

I like all kinds of music. :)

Zombie, I met someone recently and later in the convo she asked what kind of music I liked. I told her and then she said she liked everything. So I said "quit it, just tell me the kind of music you LIKE not the music you can tolerate, so what music do you really like?" she said she was a classic rock and heavy metal fan. I said "thats my kinda girl" lol

2. djcubez (Myself, funny)
3. Yoko Kano (Japanese composer; famous for Cowboy Bebop soundtrack)
4. Bob Marley
5. Nobuo Uematsu (Japanese composer; famous for Final Fantasy soundtracks)
6. Gnarls Barkley
7. Nujabes (Japanese Hip-Hop DJ)
8. The OneUps (American band that covers video game tunes)
9. Electric Light Orchestra
10. Pink Floyd
11. The Beatles
12. David Wise (American composer; diddy kong racing soundtrack)
13. Flight of the Conchords
14. Enya
15. ATB (European Trance DJ)
16. RJD2 (American Hip-Hop DJ)
17. Jedi Mind Tricks (American Hip-Hop group)
18. Red Hot Chili Peppers
19. Blink 182
20. Atmosphere (American Hip-Hop group)

So yes, my tastes are quite varied. I've recently been getting into a lot of old funk music.

Mucky Tundra (13h) : if the Eagles get it down to the 1, do they Tush Push or give it to Barkley?
TheKanataThrilla (13h) : 49ers have a money problem if they want to sign their QB
Mucky Tundra (13h) : Wait for real? Didn't he just get an extension two years ago?
    Zero2Cool (13h) : 49ers gonna trade Deebo. Interesting
TheKanataThrilla (13h) : Replays always never seem to show the holdings
TheKanataThrilla (13h) : Great throw by Hurts
Mucky Tundra (13h) : Where Carter falls prey to bad off the field influences (to be clear, not saying he'd clip someone though)
Mucky Tundra (13h) : Had Carter not gone to Philly were they already had a lot of old college friends, he ends up in a similar spot to Aaron Hernandez
Mucky Tundra (13h) : I think some of his coaches told scouts to stay away
Mucky Tundra (13h) : the street racing incident+conditioning and motivation problems
beast (13h) : Then Carter was street racing, where the other car crashed and people died... and other teams were scared to pick Carter for some reason
beast (13h) : I think the Saints traded up, giving their next year 1st to the Eagles, and then they sucked and Eagles got the 10th overall pick
    packerfanoutwest (13h) : wtf Barkley?
TheKanataThrilla (14h) : Getting Carter and Nolan Smith in the first round in 2023 was pretty darn good
Mucky Tundra (14h) : for some reason i'm thinking of a draft where the Eagles where in the mid 20s and a top player fell all the way to them
TheKanataThrilla (14h) : I think so. I would need to look it up. Think it may have been Carolina's pick.
Mucky Tundra (14h) : i'm not sure who i'm thinking of now
Mucky Tundra (14h) : oh fuck me i messed that up
    Zero2Cool (14h) : Jordan Davis was 13th overall
    Zero2Cool (14h) : Carter was 9th overall
Zero2Cool (14h) : Eagles had 15th and 10th selections, moved to 13 and 9 to get Davis and Carter back to back
Zero2Cool (14h) : Eagles traded up for Carter, didn't they?
Mucky Tundra (14h) : Obviously he was a huge risk but getting a top 5 talent on the dline in the mid 20s is fortuitous
Mucky Tundra (14h) : Jalen Carter falling into their lap certainly helps
TheKanataThrilla (14h) : And we could only wish to have this type of D
TheKanataThrilla (14h) : It's not like Philly has had low draft picks, but has managed to get themselves a top notch pass rush. We spend so much draft capital of D
packerfanoutwest (14h) : another crap halftime show
TheKanataThrilla (14h) : I think it is over, but then I think of Atlanta and want Philly to go in with the same intensity in the second half
Mucky Tundra (14h) : And with a Pass Rush that might as well be on a milk cartoon and no Jaire
Martha Careful (14h) : I cant help but feel good about how well the Packers D played in Philly during the playoffs
Mucky Tundra (14h) : this game is over
Mucky Tundra (14h) : This might be the kill shot here
Mucky Tundra (14h) : oh that's such a bad penalty for KC after getting the 3rd down stop
TheKanataThrilla (15h) : Philly DL has come to play
TheKanataThrilla (15h) : Ceoper DeJean with the INT scored...bad memories of draft night
Mucky Tundra (15h) : ok scratch that
Mucky Tundra (15h) : Game feels like last years Super Bowl: 49ers started off in control, moved the ball well but didn't have much of a lead to show for it
