I'll take the one that he took most critisism for.
He snaps the ball, the pressure gets there in no time. He's forced to scramble back as the DEs pinch him. He steps up and start running forward as far as he can, resulting in just a 3 yard sack.
There was not a single point in that play that he could throw the ball away. It was either this sack, an interception, intentional grounding or try to get to the outside to throw it away there, having quite a big chance on a 10 yard sack.
Yes, he did hold on to it for too long on some plays, but he busts out his O-line often like that as well. He can extend a play. Often, that's a good thing and we'll get a first down, sometimes, it'll result in stuff like you saw yesterday.
Just imagine if we had a true pocket passer, though. A Brady-like player would've been killed out there.
