I think I am posting a reply to my own post but here goes anyway.
I've lived in the Upper Peninsula most of my life except for a 8 year haitus as a child when we moved to Salt Lake City, (talk about culture shock) when we moved back to the U.P. It was like living on another planet. I will never leave here and hope to spend my final days sitting on the porch watching the Packers play. I am also hoping my final days are a long way off.
I like the Packers to win the division this year although you can't see it by the recent play. But last year we improved through the year and I believe we will do the same this year. I think Rodgers has proven he can play with the best of them. I don't believe all the hype about Farve trying to get revenge on Thompson. I think he wants to play football and he is going to get his wish. I look forward to the vikings november 1st game in Lambeau where Farve will get a little more of Lambeau field than he might want.
But in minnesota we will have to bring our A game to beat them.
I think we will.
