Havner v. Lasanah Havner is better on special teams and has versatility to play TE. Havner wins.

I disagree and don't understand... why does a guy that knows how to badly play 5 positions get to stay over a guy that can play 2 position alright. Lasanah is the reason Bishop got into the back field so much... also I think Lasanah can be better than Havner at STs.

LB Jones and Obiozor may be both competing for a practice squad spot.

Parrick Lee really will be lucky to go on IR and try again next year.

Jones has a lot more upside than Obiozor....

also Lee has more upside than even Williams..... but that said he's SUPER RAW.... but his potential is great... it would be very silly to cut him and his finally healthy so they can't IR him unless he cans injured again....

RB Sutton. he came on to the packers as an unrestricted free agent. he has a great attitude, and work ethic. also swain has put on some muscle and looks like he could be a decent wr some day.

I just really want to see Brohm with some decent pass protection.

Brohm will show what he can do when surrounded by viable NFL level players. Underwood will look good too. Jarius Wynn will continue to light it up.
Aren't they giving DeShawn Wynn a long look today? That's pretty cool. I'd like to see him get some time.
I'm mostly excited about getting a first look at my man Clay Mathews. We'll see what he looks like for the first time.
I also think Brad Jones, is that his name? OLB, rookie. I'd like to see him beat out Lansanah. I want him to show that he can play and has upside.

Will Bishop put Hawk to shame?

I think Sutton solidifies his spot tonight, Underwood already has his i like his size and im sure he can bulk up a bit dude is a rookie not all rooks come out all cut up, i wouldnt mind seeing more Lansanah and Jones against "better" talent with Tenn's 1s

Nope... Bishop showed why he's the #4 ILB and not starting....

Hawk just plain doesn't make mistakes. He also did the dirty work to open up Chillar a lot early on.

Nobody won a roster spot tonight. Maybe some players lost a roster spot, but nobody really went out there and grabbed one. Lumpkin and Sutton were both pretty good, but not great. Brohm proved that he can throw slants, but nothing else.

It was a frustrating game because I don't feel like I learned much about the bubble players. The only player who really impressed me was the punter, Kapinos, who was really booming them. But he had already won his job, of course.

Right now, I don't envy Thompsons job in the next 36 hours or so. He's going to have to make some tough cuts and probably take some risk on who he thinks he might be able to sneak onto the practice squad.

I thought Jarrett Bush did enough to earn a spot on the roster tonight. One play across the middle, he made a nice deflection of a pass away from the receiver. It honestly wouldn't shock me if they kept him as Collin's backup at FS and cut Peprah and Rouse.

Underwood has not really impressed me at all. He was targeted several times tonight and just looked out of position. Same with Ford. I'd like to keep Underwood on the practice squad if at all possible and keep Blackmon, Lee, and Bush as the reserve corners behind Woodson, Harris, and Wiliams. The one KR lee had looked really good before he injured his knee and you can never have enough guys who can return kicks imo and I just can't see the team giving up on a second round pick despite being a bit banged up. Look how long the team held onto Blackmon despite his rash of injuries.

RB and FB are probably going to be the toughest choices they'll have to make. The only guy who I'd consider a lock is Grant right now. Jackson's ankle injury really muddied the waters. How serious is it? Do you IR him and keep Grant, Wynn, and Sutton or all 4? Lumps had a couple of nice runs tonight, but I think he's still practice squad bound at this point. Hall and Kuhn are a solid pair, but you have to consider the ceilings for everyone at this point. Johnson has the higher one imo and I'd hate to see the team give up on him, and cut him loose in hopes of sneaking him onto the practice squad where another team hurting at FB might swoop him and claim him off waivers. Hall and Johnson would be the two I'd still keep. Hall makes it because he's the better receiving FB and Johnson because of his long term potential and can basically knock people's block off in goal line situations.

Martha Careful (3h) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (4h) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (4h) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (6h) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (6h) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (6h) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (8h) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (10h) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (17h) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (17h) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (17h) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (17h) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Game not over yet
beast (18h) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (18h) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (18h) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (18h) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (20h) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (20h) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (20h) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (20h) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (20h) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (20h) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (20h) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (23h) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.

Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : DAGGER
TheKanataThrilla (19-Jan) : pass plays
TheKanataThrilla (19-Jan) : Seems some of their passes are too deep. Reminds me of MLF as well.
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : Oren Burks with a clutch pass break up...I will now light myself on fire
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : a run on 2nd down and 17 from McVay? So that's where MLF gets it from!
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : Do or die time for the Rams
TheKanataThrilla (19-Jan) : Kicking field goals are impressive
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : Oh that might be a backbreaker
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : That's what I thought too, just wasn't sure
TheKanataThrilla (19-Jan) : Kicking doesn't make much sense
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : If the Rams score a TD on the upcoming drive, they go for 2, right?
TheKanataThrilla (19-Jan) : Stafford is pretty good with 4th quarter comebacks. I would like to see it.
Mucky Tundra (19-Jan) : YUGE stand by the Rams D there
