What amazes me about some of these plays is how on so many of his TD passes, both Rodgers' feet are off the ground. They're not set. He literally throws from midair. His arm strength is breathtaking. The other thing that intrigues me is how softly he lobs a lot of those passes, particularly to his tight ends; he just sort of bloops them into their bread baskets. Driver once said that Rodgers has no touch, but he certainly shows touch on several of those passes.
Hopefully Mike McCarthy understands now how much more effective Rodgers is as a red zone passer than his running game is at red zone rushing. When McCarthy gave Rodgers a chance to pass into the end zone, he was virtually automatic.
