Huge element has been added with Finley. Along with Lee who was pretty good himself, it is going to be hard on defenses.

If you add our WR with out TEs now, I don't know of a team that has a better receiving group.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

I've been saying that since his Longhorn days. I hope it happens.

I don't know if you guys follow Jermichael Finley on Twitter, but you sure see a maturation in his tweets from when he started, and I think he really appreciates the Packer fans and always tries to get us on Twitter pumped up.

I think I read an article about him a while ago where he addressed his attitude from last season. He pretty much said he learned a lot from that incident where he blamed Rodgers for a bad pass.

Another reason why I think he has matured is because of his lack of a touchdown celebration. The way he reacted just seemed to say to me, "all right we scored, but we still got a game to play".

I could see Finley putting up really good numbers this year, wouldn't be a shock to see him #3 or #4 on the team in yards.

Finley reminds me a lot of the Antonio Gates/Dallas Clark kind of tight end. He might never be able to block, but he's very quick for a TE, amazingly athletic and has great hands.

When I checked my fantasy homepage this morning, it said "Finley officially on the fantasy map". I was hoping he would have a turnaround like this, and I hope it continues.

He definitely has the size to overpower DBs and speed to outrun LBs. His athleticism and hands finish the package. The more he matures, the better he`ll be. I don`t mind a little attitude, just not a disruption.

One thing that comes to mind for me, with finley:

In a good way, this could mean less of the 5 wide sets. Now bare with me here, i loved the 5 wide set in 07, but consider this:

4 wide + TE(finley) is a better all around formation, because you can flank him out or bring him in for protection, and you still have that 5th, very dangerous receiving threat in the game with this kid. And you can still run it with only 4 healthy(or active) wrs, which we have for a good part of 08.

Death to the fab five!

Long live the fab fin!

Finley Fantasy

to whoever made the comment in chat the other night about picking up Finley....cheers! it spurred the notion in my head that i had [strike]Blow Me[/strike] Brandon Marshall on BOTH my FF teams. i dropped Marshall for Finley both times wayyyy before anybody outside of Packer Nation had the chance to even say "wtf, who?"

got a good feelin' 'bout this one!

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.
