This has been the big news out here in Minneapolis. Apparently, there are factions of Vikings players that are backing either T-Joke and others backing Sage as these individual players' picks for their wants as a starting QB. With the addition of Favre, apparently there is a 'schism' in the locker room.

Sad thing is, Favre's gonna get the bad rap about this.. even though these 'sources' say this has nothing to do with him.

I say, this is good for the team. The leaders can stand up and say they are here to win, not for back door politics and shenanigans. Those leaders back up the Vikings starting QB, whomever that is (obviously Favre), giving that QB leverage to prove his worth to the unbelievers within the team.

Oh, and if for some God-forSACKen reason Jared Allen's career in the NFL comes up short, he'll do just fine as a comedian.

i think more is being made of this than necessary. I'm willing to be in '07 there was the same thing going on in GB. I'm sure some wanted Brett and some wanted Rodgers before the season started.

And I'm sure it was the same thing in '08.

Yup. It's only a big deal in the National media because Favre is dressed in purple now.

If number 4 was still Booty.. This wouldn't be a blip on ESPN's radar.

Jim Rome said today that Favre looked more annoyed when asked about this non-issue than he's ever seen Favre look in an interview. I don't blame him. The media is determined to stir up trouble wherever Favre goes.

Really. I don't see why he can't just quietly walk onto any team he wants and be left alone as he takes over...

Apathy is the ultimate punishment, Mass. I'd far rather see him tasked with that than overwhelmed with attention, positive or negative.

Exactly what I was thinking. I doubt that this issue is really an issue. I can imagine that some of the guys will be backing up TJ, but really, this happens to every single team in the league. Just not everyone gets a QB named Favre.

And I thought that Jared Allen was pretty funny, as well. He really does seem and sound like a pretty good guy. His competetiveness just might get the best of him from time to time on the field.

lol Yeah. You think? Heh. I know there's still a few people here that will continue to hate him.. Oh well. Like he really cares what a bunch of cheese-sniffin' Puker fans think of Aaron's number 1 enemy. 🙂
