I echoed these same sentiments the first time around, when Rodgers made the [somehow infamous among some folk] comments about Kampman's.

Couldn't put my finger on it exactly, but I talk like that to my closest friends all the time.

it's how i talk to EVERYBODY....ALL the time! i love busting balls. heck, in some places i've lived it's almost considered rude of you to get the ball thrown at you and not throw it back (to use a turn of phrase). haha, just about every game there's some overly-sensitive chap in the chat who asks if there's a way to "ignore twinkie" etc, etc.

Rodgers is not fond of Steve, period. If you run into Rodgers privately, ask him. Does he HATE him? No, but Steve is just not one of his favorite people. Just like you and I, there's people we don't like as much as others. It's NOT a big deal and NOT worth talking about non stop.

Watch/listen to other interviews with Rodgers and other 'reporters'. There's a drastic difference in his tone.

On Rodgers, this seems a lot better than the last clip yes.. Rodgers seems a lot less "edgy"...

Anyway.. I care less about Aaron's golf game or other none football related items for the guy.. personally I am not fond of Homer either.. lol

I thought Aaron yet again handled the freaking pathetic Favre nonsense questions.. I think there was a ton of truth to his speed of the game answers.. and Finley made a huge leap late part of last season for the practice comments.. so it really isn't right the Aaron is crowned with this prediction... lol.

Weigh the pro's and con's of your questions answer and then ask yourself, does it REALLY matter what I answer with? By asking, you already have a perception in which I'm not willing to put forth any effort to prove otherwise. All I'm going to say is I live in Green Bay where some of the players spend a lot of time.

Now if Rodgers and Steve "friendship" or lack of is the best topic, then so be it. If that's the best we can come up with, out of ten minutes, either it was a bad interview or we really need to ... or maybe the interview was just crap. I think the comments on his contract were pretty interesting and I liked them. That's just me though.

you're right. the contract comments were interesting but it was a fairly uninteresting interview. and it's not really about finding whether or not those guys "like" each other that i find interesting...it's the overreaction to everything and anything the players say by the fans which i find interesting.

Very true, very true fans over react on a lot of things. Imagine if you were in the 'know' of certain things that were being over reacted upon.

Sort of off topic here, but for instance, landing on the moon. Those who LANDED on the moon having to deal with people who claim it never happened. Just imagine how frustrating it has to be for them at times. I'm sure in the scope of it all, they just have learned to shrug it off with the perception 'shit, i was there, i know the facts'.

I'm a tad different. I like spreading knowledge, the very little I possess, lol. :)


I haven't listened to this since last night so my memory is faded. I did like Rodgers/Steve's or Mitch's talk about Finley and that Rodgers said Finley was basically a monster on the scout team last year. Basically saying that Finley would break out sooner or later. Good stuff there.
