So I moved into a new house August 1st, bought internet but didn't feel like getting cable because I didn't feel like it was worth it (I only watch sports). Needless to say I stumbled upon MLB.TV and thought "$35 for a year of Brewer's games?" and purchased it like an idiot. Needless to say, I can't watch any Brewers games because they're all blacked out locally.

So now I'm stuck with an application that will allow me to watch any baseball games except my home team. Sounds stupid when put into that one sentence but I guess blackouts aren't supposed to make sense. @#%$#@%!

Soooo, anyone know anything about proxies lol.

djcubez, perhaps you could write a nicely worded letter explaining your situation and your honest mistake and cancel your subscription. Failing that, perhaps you could use justin.tv or similar to view Brewers games and watch the others on your MLB.TV subscription.

That's what I used to do. TVAnts was actually the most reliable but it completely sucks up the rest of my bandwidth where no one else on our internet can do anything.

As far as canceling it, I still enjoy watching other baseball games so it's not too big of a deal. Just annoying I can't use it for the main purpose I bought it for. Kind of like buying a pack of Starbursts hoping for the red one's because they're your favorite, but there's no reds, the rest are still good but it's not what you wanted.
