I can only feel so sorry for the guy, though. Admittedly, it's unfortunate his talent has gone to waste, but it's not like he has to refund the money he's made. Even if he "only" rakes in $400,000 this year, that's more than I will make in the next ten years combined. He can start himself a business, become a professional poker player, or pay his way through grad school. Either way, he has plenty of options remaining for life.
