Here my newest member of my zoo. He's a ball python around 4 mos old. Will be 4-5ft when fully grown. :thumbright:

awww...he looks just like my stepson's ball python - his name's "fluffy"! LOL. never in a million years did i think i would go near a snake, let alone HOLD one but he's actually a very nice snake...well, as snakes go anyway.

cool. fluffy's a calm guy. as long as you don't go at him real fast, he just looks at ya & slithers along. i must say the coolest thing is watching him eat - in a "omg i think i'm gonna puke" kinda way. first time, i was practically dry heavin - now it just amazes me. he's graduated from mice to rats now.

I love watching snakes snatch and kill live mice/rats, it's so quick and vicious. Is it less expensive for the frozen mice?

Not a huge fan of snakes myself.

My son has one of those ball pythons too........calls him "Monty" :icon_smile:

My son feeds his live mice.
I went with him to the pet store one time to pick up the "dinner guest"
I felt bad for the the little buggers as they were all jumping up against the glass enclosure ....kinda like "pick me, pick me".
