Funny little story.

Talked to my son today. He arrived at training camp for football yeasterday at Minnesota State. Camp starts this afternoon.

So this morning, my son is walking by the facilities on his way to work out when he passes a young black man sitting on a chair outside of the building. He was just sitting there resting.

As Kip walked near, the young man said " Hey there, What up?"

My son smiled, and responded, "Not much, how you doin, Adrian?"

It was Adrian Petersen.





I told him next time to finish the conversation with a simple "go pack!'


Looks like I will have more tidbits from the enemy camp here this next few weeks.

Well, bad news.

Coach told Kip that he had no chance to play tight end so they were switching him to tackle.

Kip doesn't want to play tackle. talked with coach, told him his heart was not into playing tackle. So the days of Kip playing college football are over. Oh well.

I don't know how long I could stand seeing him play in purple.

What position did he play in high school? I think it would be exciting to play anywhere on a college team.

That's a shame, Tripp. I guess an education is more important anyway, but it's still a shame that he won't be able to play anymore.

Geez....that sucks.
What is he going to do now? Try to go to a different school? Or is he just gonna quit football?
