My awesome wife and I decided last night to make a day of hitting up the Minnesota Zoo. I've taken her to the Como Park Zoo multiple times (it's free with optional donation, and closer to our apartment) but neither one of us has been to the Minnesota Zoo in many, many years. This zoo is about 30-45 minutes from us, and costs $16/person with $5 parking. We figure instead of going to a movie and dinner (like we normally do on weekends), we'd spend that money on the MN Zoo and enjoy the day with some exercise.

For some obvious reasons, this Zoo is kept up considerably better than the Como Zoo, and is MUCH bigger. No knocks on Como, though.. We love that one as well (it has WAAAY more Primates.. our fav!! lol). I took over 200 pictures! I only uploaded 6, though.. we all know what most the animals look like.. Here's some pics!

In the Minnesota Trail exhibit, this is the Grey Wolf, aka Timber Wolf. This was the male.
