My wife and I just got back from a quick vacation, spur of the moment thing, to Milwaukee to visit my mother and brother. My oldest daughter and her husband and one of their daughters were going to visit and we had enough travel points to get tickets on AmTrak on short notice. We met them in Milwaukee and stayed in guest rooms at my mothers retirement place, right on Lake Michigan.

We went up to see our old home in Sheboygan last week and I swear I saw Cheesey mooning motorists on I-43 from the top of a crane at the Saukville interchange. What a mess on that stretch of Interstate. Even tour buses were stopped to let passengers get pictures of a true Wisconsin Landmark.

It's gonna take me several days to get over that, so I'm stocking up on a supply of Moose Drool and Pabst and sitting on my back deck and recuperate.

For those not around this area, they are putting a bike path bridge across I-43. The workers have a "Sponge Bob" in a pirate uniform, and every day they would move him to a different spot. One day he's be hanging from a crane, another, on one of the bridge supports. They just had fun with it.
Just glad you had a safe trip Bob!
(I knew you were here anyway........one of my local squirrels told me they saw you)
