Hi, I thought I'd just say hello as I'm new in these parts. I love what you've done with the place, it looks like a great stack of Packers highlights to get my teeth into and some intelligent Packer fans to discuss them and other topics with.
I live in England and have been a Packer fan for about three years, which was when I first discovered the game. I enjoy British sports but for me there is nothing like 'American' Football. The almost socialistic draft, salary cap, revenue sharing and knock out playoff system is brilliant for giving hope to all fans.
Strangely whilst the 'last shall be first' draft order dominates US sports in the traditionally socialistic Europe our soccer teams are run in a pure capitalistic way with the big, rich, successful teams getting bigger and richer while the small teams struggle along for decades.
Anyway, the Packers stood out as an obvious choice when I was choosing to select a team to follow. A unique ownership model, plucky underdog small town vibe, great tradition, unusual name and imo cool uniform colours.
Cheers
