Did you see Aaron make that pass? Unbelievable! Did you see he had no interceptions? Did you see him scramble out of the pocket? Did you see, did you see, did you see?

Yes, we all saw. Aaron Rodgers finished his first start and passed with flying colors. He was good, no doubt. But the reason the Packers were in the game and pulled it out in the end, happened to be because the defense played great. Read More....

I will be a lot more excited when we quit falling for the QB scrambling to pick up the third and long multiple times. That was the painful part. The rest, as stated above, was good.

I think that teams burn our D with two things. A good TE, or a mobile QB. As we saw Monday, our defense can overcome that, but like you said it makes me cringe every time I see it.

Good read. I will say this though.. We really don't know how good- Wait, I should say: effective, the Vikings offense is. Yes, AP is a beast, no doubt. But, outside of that, do they have any sort of continuity?

I think towards the middle of the season we'll find out how effective the Vikings offense REALLY is. Then you can be proud/ashamed of your defense.

big credit for the D to figuring out how to shut down AP. He didnt do much in the 2nd half. Combine that with getting an early lead and forcing the Vikes to throw.

Good game plan by the coaches!

our d-line was good and i think when we play them again it will pretty much be the same i agree though they need to stop on 3rd downs hopfuly no injuries will hit that can factor in in any team

I love our D. The Death Squad doesn't mess around. In the...packershome.com live chat, on the final vikings drive, a lot of people were a little nervous, but I wasn't. I knew Kampman and company would get to Jackson and make him do something stupid. I knew our veteran CBs would come through against mediocre WRs, and I knew the spider monkey himself, Atari Bigby, would either kill someone, or as it was, pick off a Jackson pass to seal it. I knew it.

And if you think THAT was impressive, wait till you see what they do to Kitna. Jackson, a mobile QB, got banged around A LOT. What will Kitna do when the big uglies up front are on the hunt?

Poor bastard.
