According to www.pro-football-reference.com, Aaron Rodgers was 3rd in Fantasy. Drew Brees was first and Rivers was 2nd.
Their website follows a pretty "standard" fantasy rulebook, but as some folks have mentioned, different leagues go by different fantasy rules.
Just in case you're wondering, here is Aaron compared to the other two:
Drew 5039 34 17
Philip 4009 34 11
Aaron 4038 28 13
In '09, Mike McCarthy needs to be more aggressive in our opponent's Red Zone. Aaron would be driving the ball, then Mike McCarthy will decide to put the game in Ryan Grant's hands. Bad idea. So we'd end up with FGs instead of TDs.
Mike McCarthy seems to learn from his mistakes. I think we'll see a more aggressive O in '09, and don't be surprised to see Aaron with 30+ TDs. The yards may be around the same as will the INTs.
Brees' year was a statistical aberration. The odds of him having another year like that in '09 are very low. Possible? Yes. But likely? No.
