However, I wouldn't say it to the public like Rodgers has. It was a terrible thing to say and one Kampman probably didn't appreciate.

Rodgers said if Kampman were to say those contract request public it would be the dumbest thing ever and also said if he said it privately it would be okay. I'm not sure its that big of a deal.

I think his attitude/tone were very shitty.

The other things he said were saying that Kampman will do good in the scheme.

I wish I had a transcript of this ... dammit.

Also Homer does seem to be a Rodgers disliker. Not really sure why to dislike Rodgers other than he's the guy after Favre (horrible stupid reason), he said something like get behind me or shut up (which doesn't almost every player say something stupid from time to time (just they don't get as much hype as that one did because the Favre hype) and not this.... from what I've heard my favorite parts are when Homer isn't talking...

Rodger said the a similar thing to the fans last year.

I don't believe he should have aired this, Kampmann thing, with the media. One, the media will blow it out of proportion and two, it alienates the subject(Kampmann). Talk to him face to face and keep it in house.

Things will work out. I believe Aaron will give his best effort regardless, he's that type of person. And the Packers will do what they have to do.

Honestly there isn't much here that concerns me unless it effects the play of Rodgers and Kampman. I don't see that happening so I wouldn't get uptight about it.

Last comment on subject a day later...

This incident by itself.. not that big of deal even though Rodgers comes off as a pissy assed little punk QB.

But I refuse to turn a blind eye to two comments that I feel are unbecoming of a leader of the Packers upon the field.. timing and framing your words in public are very crucial.

And you bet your ass if I was Kampman, I would have a word or two with Mr. Rodgers in the locker room or maybe even an extra pop on the football field.

I have no issue (How he delivered it, yep) with what Rodgers said, but to say it publicly.. no way that I agree with it. He talks about stupid.. well that right there was stupid. Deal with it in the locker room or over a beer at a dinner..

Yeah, I'm still kind of shocked by his pissy attitude. I wonder how much of it has to do with all the crap he's been getting over the last few years, then finally to play and have a good season and now he's got a chip on his shoulder as if to say 'fuck you world who doubted me an questioned me'.

I dunno, but I hope this is not a reoccurring aspect of our QB.

Yeah he came off as a jerk, but why?

Maybe he cant stand those guys...

maybe he was told he wont have to answer any questions about Kamp or the 3-4

Maybe his p/r person was right there and forced him to answer ( had p/r people at SB )

Or maybe he really is that way...

What ever the reason so what? We have guys on the team doing lot worse and we dont bad mouth them

Like i said...........MOST people gave BF a free pass when he spoke his mind. "Thats just Brett being Brett" and all.
AR does it, and many people get mad at him.

Yes, i agree it SHOULD be taken care of behind closed doors. But what can ya do? If MM thinks he was out of line, i'm sure he will take care of it.

If he doesn't like them, don't stop and do the interview. I'm starting to think that Rodgers is just a prick.

Once again, an overreaction from a few select. Lets dig deep into everything that is said and lets assume everything.
Yeah, Rodgers sounded like an a-hole over the air. Oh well....who knows what was going on. Is he really like that? Who knows.

I think it is funny that only a few people actually brought up the positive of the interview when he said he thinks that Kampman will excel in the 3-4 defense. Guess only a few people heard that because they were too busy waiting on the negative portion, which was Rodgers simply saying it would not be smart to publicly ask for an extension when you don't know what they production is going to be. I mean, really?
Some people need to take their heads out of their :pottytrain2:

And no, I don't agree with the way he carried himself or his tone...but oh well...it is what it is. Maybe he had to friggin' be somewhere and didn't think the questions they were asking were worth his time? Ever think about that? They didn't ask one question about the offense or his production or what he has been doing. It would erk me a little too guys.
Thats my thoughts on this.

Well, Aaron, not everyone gets their starting job handed to them. Not everyone gets rewarded with a huge contract for holding a clipboard. Not everyone gets the luxury of learning behind one of the greatest ever.

Here's an idea pretty boy, win some football games and quit choking in the clutch or shut you mouth. Maybe it was bad day, but he sounds like a spoiled talking head.

I think its time to hop off that horse...this makes no sense at all and I don't think you watched a single game last year. Your hate for the guy is sickening.
