He could probably help but theres no way it would happen with ted tompson as gm. I dont belive ted tompson will bring any older players in ever and i guessi could see i agree with him.

Dont quote me on this, but i seem to remember reading something about Ellis on PFT, saying the reason he isnt working out in dallas is because he hasn't adapted well to the 3-4. So i doubt ted would seriously look into this, if that is infact the case.

[edit] Looking at his stats, i sort of doubt this what i said above is true. Maybe i was just reading someone's stupid comments or something 🙂 And in this case i would be really interested in seeing him in green and gold.

Greg Ellis, aside from Jason Taylor, is the most popular example of a 4-3 DE becoming well suited as an OLB in the 3-4.

He can teach Kampman a thing or two. But with the youth we have at linebacker, he won't be signed.

Todd Archer, of The Dallas Morning News, reports James D. Williams, agent for unrestricted free-agent LB Greg Ellis (Cowboys), said teams have shown interest in signing Ellis. Williams believes Ellis will sign in time for him to be ready for the start of training camp.
