I am not a big watcher of American Idol. However, I find this poll interesting....

Vote?

What? A bunch of people who can't write music for shit but can sing good? They are pop-stars and that's all there is to it. I long for the late 70s rock to come back in some form...(I am not even from that period either)

I watched half an episode once... I would rather have my teeth pulled than listen to Simon speak..

I normally don't watch this either. I couldn't name you a single contestant of the Dutch version of this. This one was pretty amazing, though, I mean, just look at her being ridiculed and acting somewhat strange and how she comes back, totally unexpected.

Just a little bit on the net.. can she sing as well as they claim? I know that she isn't a "looker", but can she sing?

I agree with the Green Ninja.

Untalented ass clowns the whole lot of them are. It amazes me that Americans don't even know who the Vice President of the United States of America is, but they can tell you all these American Idol morons. Knowing that, we pretty much deserved this recession.

In the 70s, people actually played INSTRUMENTS. I know, tough concept to swallow.

American Idol makes an already dumb nation even dumber.

I don't know. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like 70s rock way more than American Idol, or just Idols over here, but I don't know if it makes anyone dumber.

I never watch it by myself, yet, when I'm at my mom's on a saturday night, sit down in front of the TV, get something to eat, it's pretty fun. It's a real family show. I couldn't care less about the guy not being able to play guitar and write songs like Allen Collins for instance.

I love to sing.
If they didn't have age restrictions, i would seriously give it a shot.
Just so i could "shock" everyone like Susan Boyle did!
