While all MN, Det and Chi did something this off season to improve their teams. Even with that, Green Bay had a draft that give them the best chance of making a drastic improvement for the 09' season.

If Detroit is smart, Stafford will never see the field outside of preseason, Cutler still needs to throw to somebody, and Hester is not that WR. And the opposite with Harvin, he needs a consistent QB for his talent to be fully realized in the Vikings.

Green Bay, got players that should come in a improve the defense from day 1, without being as dependent on others. That 6-10 record was a couple defensive players from a possible 10-6, and those will be back from injury. Add the new additions and assuming the offense doesn't drop off the map and GB will be a tough team in the North with a very good chance of the division title.

Pretty much what I was thinking. And I'm still holding out hope Tauscher can come back healthy, solidify the right tackle spot, and finish his career as a Packer.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

Yes, very early, but I'm bored. So let's talk about it.

What do you think our needs are, and who do you suggest that we get?

Who is a top value player that you would like for us to get even if he is not at a position of need?

Who would you be mad about getting?

I think this will be fun, even if we don't have a huge knowledge or know who is going to do good in the upcoming college football season.

I think a position that we should select in the first round should be CB. We are getting old there, and we didn't exactly shore that up this past draft or free agency. However, if there is a top tier OT still available where we select, we should take him IMO.

Top talent, IMO, we should take George Selvie. Pass rush specialist out of South Florida. There will probably be more that I realize as the college football season goes on.

I can't say that I know who I would be mad about getting.....I don't know a whole lot about the players going to be in the draft next year.

If someone could has a list of players that are seniors or possible juniors going into the draft, could you post it?

I think a DE wouldn't be a bad selection in the first depending on who was there and also depending on how well our DE's play. I'd like to take a running back as well.. a CB is another need.

I think in next years draft, tho very early.. I say are needs would be CB,DE,RB,LB,OG, and possibilly TE, but that's a long shot.

I don't think LB will be a need next year, I think we are pretty good at that position right now. Although, we could use a backup behind Matthews......we'll see who is available then.

But who knows, maybe Brady Poppinga will do good in this system.

I forgot about the RB position, I also think we should draft one early on. I say take a TE about round 4 or 5 if our TEs don't do better this season.

Next years draft is loaded with DL talent so id say we'll pick up one. Ryan Pickett hasnt many miles left in him.

Yes but I say go with DE first and if we're going with a NT do it after we select the DE definitely.
