Metcalf was traded to The Steelers for a 2nd rnd pick and The teams will swap 6th and 7th rnd picks in 2026 .
Shefty is reporting Metcalf will get a 5 year 150mil contract. Guaranteed money yet to be disclosed.

It seems to me that there is too much emphasis/money on wide out and not enough on OLINE.

The main reason Philly dominated was their lines. Yes edge is part of the line and Garrett and Crosby got their money, but just as important on the defensive side is getting that interior push.

Further, if Love has time, you could put only decent receivers out there and, with decent scheming, they will get open.

Definitely the OL. I've been pounding OL/DL drum for YEARS. Eagles having AJ Brown and Devonta Smith and Saquon Barkley sure helped a lot too though.

Its like this year in and year out except a few exceptions. Tom Brady wouldn't have all those rings if his lines weren't consistently good. The old saying "win the battle in the trenches" still holds true to this day. But NFL is more of an entertainment product so flashy QB's are team priorities (see Josh Allen's new contract). I legit wouldn't be mad if Gute spent 80% of our picks on DL/OL.
