Two women who sued NFL kicker Brandon McManus alleging he sexually assaulted them last year when they were serving as flight attendants on the Jacksonville Jaguars’ flight to London filed an amended complaint on Friday that includes their names.

Earlier this week, a judge dismissed the women’s initial lawsuit, ruling it did not rise to the “exceptional” criteria required for anonymity.

The amended complaint filed in Duval County, Florida, includes new allegations against the team, saying the plane was separated into two levels, allowing for inappropriate behavior to take place, and that rules such as a ban on alcohol consumption were not enforced.

“As a result of the Jaguars’ non-enforcement of policy, defendant Brandon McManus drank alcohol to the point that he got drunk, along with others, and ultimately sexually assaulted both plaintiffs,” the complaint reads. “Due to the Jaguars’ in-flight policy and procedure — or lack thereof — and implicit instructions to the flight crew to not intervene in said conduct, the Jaguars as well as McManus are directly responsible for this occurrence.”

81.4 Career FG %
In his last full season, McManus made 30 of 37 field goals (81.1 percent) and 35 of 35 extra point attempts for the Jaguars.

Anders Carlson has a 81.8 career field-goal percentage.

Note Carlson is over one year, while McManus numbers will be over 10 years.

Inside 30
Carlson: 6 for 6 (100%)
McManus: 66 of 70 (94.3%) with misses in 2017, 2017, 2021, 2022

In the 30s
Carlson: 14 for 14 (100%)
McManus: 70 of 75 (93.3%)

In the 40s
Carlson: 4 of 8 (50%)
McManus: 72 of 84 (85.7%)

50 and over
Carlson: 3 of 5 (60%)
McManus: 45 of 82 (54.9%)

So McManus is averaging over 8 kicks of 50+ per season, which is dragging his average down, but his inside the 40 is a lot better than Carlson.

Of course as PFT pointed out at the time, the women were also not only suing McManus, but also suing the Jaguars. Which made it more likely that the NFL investigators would find nothing, as the NFL often circles the wagons and protect the team owners.

Packers also have a kicker on the PS, and can re-sign a number of different kickers, which currently include Narveson, or Carlson to the main roster should McManus be suspended and put on the suspended list.

Well nevermind. Let's just hope that going forward that off the field there's nothing else that's going to happen with McManus.
