I watched it a few times. It was funny the first couple of years, then it kind of got old.
JMO of course.

I saw only a couple of episodes of Scrubs and it drove me nuts. All shows that feature a loser male as the main character drive me nuts, particularly a male who deliberately sabotages every relationship he gets into. The last thing I want to see is those kinds of negative sitcom stereotypes of weak men perpetrated. I prefer to watch men being men; it is much more uplifting.

P.S. Why do people feel the need to add "Just my opinion" to posts? It's a given that everything we write here is just an opinion.

Be proud of your opinions, fellow Packers fans, not apologetic. If someone proves you wrong, then you get the privilege to change your opinion (as I do almost every day of my life),, but until then, say it loud, say it proud, and be forceful about it.

I think this is a discussion forum and its okay to add 'just my opinion' because some times things we say are taken as they are fact. It's better to state it out right than hope that everyone assumes correctly.

I like the show, although not enough to go through alot of crap to watch the later seasons. Comedy Central is running re-run after re-run of the first couple of seasons over here, so it's more annoying and boring by now than it is funny.

Still, it is a pretty funny show, but Zach Braff is pretty much the main character. I don't think that the show will be as popular as it was without him.

In regards to your comment about the dumb man stereotype, commercials are the worst. Nearly every commercial has a) smart quick women who are saints for putting up with b) dumb as shit men.

And i don't always add "JMO".
But with something like this, which is JUST a TV show, I want to make sure I'm not putting down anyone that loves the show and thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread.
It's only my opinion of the TV show, not "factual" information. For every non funny thing, I'm sure there are funny things. For awhile, when the show was somewhat new, i found it funny. But then it was pretty much the same show over and over.
I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings over a TV show.
JMO of course.

Oh......you guys are SOOO right! Even my wife notices all those commercials. Like the guy in the phone one, that dumps the thousands of "sprinkles" on the counter, and the dumb teen (boy, of course) that then says "Do you want whip cream?" He will be the NEXT generation of the "dumb men" in commercials.
The question is WHY do they portray men that way?
Answer: They are targeting the ones that do most of the shopping, thus, the women. Make all men look like idiots, and the women will buy OUR products. And when they DO show men that are somewhat "smart", they show them trying to "trick" women into going to bed with them. Captain Morgan I believe does that, or the ones for "AXE" body spray. Of course those are aimed towards men, and they stereo type all men as horn dogs who are controlled 100% by their penis.
JM........oh......nevermind!!!LOLOLOL!!! :thumbleft:
