Earlier this afternoon, the Packers placed Donovan Jennings, Tucker Kraft, Alex McGough and Zach Tom on the active/physically unable to perform list. Kitan Oladapo has been placed on the non-football injury list.

Players on the PUP list can participate in team activities but are not allowed to practice. Players can be can be removed from the list at any time during camp, but they can’t be placed back on it.

The non-football injury list is for players who suffer an injury while away from the team.

Both Tom and Kraft suffered torn pectoral muscles during the offseason and are most likely still recovering. Head coach Matt LaFleur indicated during the offseason program that he expected both to be available for most of camp. The Packers are undoubtedly being their usual cautious selves here.

As for Oladapo, he missed much of the offseason work while recivering from surgery to fix a broken toe. Now it would appear he's hurt himself again while away from the facility. Tough start to the young man's Packers career.

What a pity.

This isn't a big deal, is it? I feel we start every training camp with handful on PUP and maybe one goes into season on PUP

Edit- my comment: "What a pity" is based on the fact it is better to be a full participant in camp than to be stuck on the sidelines riding an exercise bike.

As far as how serious it is or isn't, I guess that depends on how seriously the injuries are or aren't. Which I don't have any good why to judge.

I think our guys will be OK though. And nothing against posting it at all. Maybe someone sees is, then sees it's a nothing burger (maybe) and voila. 🙂

Gutekunst says RT Zach Tom will come off the PUP list this morning and will practice on a limited basis today. TE Tucker Kraft is a little further away and will be on PUP to start camp. Both players coming off offseason torn pectoral muscles.

beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
