85 percent of Green Bay fans hope that defensive tackle Kenny Clark is extended.

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Green Bay Packers  fans and fans across the country. Sign up here  to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

We had three questions for you this week, which I thought were going to lead to closer outcomes. Instead, the vast majority of you fell to one side of these debates. Hey, at least we’re all going down on the ship together if we’re wrong!

Let’s get into the poll results.

Most Packers  fans believe that Green Bay has the best quarterback situation in the NFC North, and I can’t blame them. There’s the possibility that both the Chicago Bears  and Minnesota Vikings  will be starting rookie quarterbacks this year, as long as Sam Darnold doesn’t win the Vikings’ job. The Bears have already named Caleb Williams as their starting quarterback, which shouldn’t be surprising considering that he was picked with the first overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft .

The only other expected veteran starter in the division other than Love is the Detroit Lions ’ Jared Goff, who just received a four-year, $212 million extension with the team, including $113.6 million in fully guaranteed money and $170 million in “total guarantees.” He will carry a cap hit of $69.6 million in just two seasons in just the second season of that four-year extension — per Spotrac . Good luck with that.

Only about one-fifth of Packers fans believe that 2023 starting right tackle Zach Tom will be the team’s starting center in Brazil in Week 1, despite the report from ESPN’s Rob Demovsky that Green Bay views Tom as a potential Hall-of-Fame caliber center . I was optimistic that returning starter Josh Myers, who has not lived up to the hype of a second-round pick thus far in his career, would be pushed at the position following Demovsky’s report. When offensive line coach Luke Butkus stated clearly that Myers was going to be maybe the only Packers player who wasn’t going to be cross-trained, noting that he was “obviously” Green Bay’s center, I feel as though he pointed us in the direction of the writing on the wall. Myers is in a contract season, as his rookie deal will expire at the end of the year. It will be interesting to see if the Packers attempt to sign him to an extension in 2024.

Speaking of extensions, 85 percent of Packers fans want defensive tackle Kenny Clark to be extended. Like Myers, Clark is also in the final year of his current contract. The assumption is that Clark will bring home around $13 million per year on an extension, which is a lot for a non-All-Pro who is pushing 30 years old — but Clark has been pretty consistent throughout his NFL career. Now that Green Bay is transitioning to a penetrating-style defense, Clark’s strengths at the nose tackle position should only be more emphasized on the field.

I think Clark has been their best front 7 player for the last few years. It will be interesting to see how he is used and how well he does under Hadley and the new scheme. I would be inclined to agree with those in the survey.

Barring injury, by week 3, Morgan (not Williams as erroneously posted)- will be LT, Tom will be RT, Jenkins with be LG, Myers will be C. The question will be who will be RG.

I used to absolutely love Clark, but from 2018 to 2022 his game.declined every single year with me saying, every single year it'll bounce back up...

In 2023, it finally had a slight positive bounce... but to get another big contract (as he's earning $17 million this year) he needs to be better than average more often.

I think the attacking style of the new scheme will make fans fall in love with some, but we'll miss their screw ups more.

Clark needs to get back at least to his 2021 or I'm wouldn't be giving him a new BIG contact, I absolutely think he can do it... but I've been saying that for years...

It seems many feel Kenny Clark is underhyped. However, I see him as overhyped. The guy makes plays, yes. It just doesn't seem to be during crunch time or when it's needed. It seems his big tackles for loss or sacks come when the game outcome is decided. I do see him snagging a lot of double teams though, which is beneficial for the others on the line.

Zero2Cool (2h) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (3h) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (17h) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (17h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
