The Onion Chimes in on Joe Barry’s Defense
The satire news company takes a shot at the Packers' struggling defense.

The Green Bay Packers are taking shots from all sides after their 34-20 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. For the most part, the criticism has been rightfully aimed at Joe Barry’s defense, which got shredded by Baker Mayfield and made him the first opposing player to earn a perfect passer rating of 158.3 at Lambeau Field.

One of the funniest and most depressing jabs came from the king of satire news, The Onion, who tweeted about the Packers' soft secondary defense.

The link leads to an empty page, but the headline and picture speak volumes. The picture of Carrington Valentine playing zone coverage in space is the perfect representation of what Packers fans have had to endure week after week this season.

It's The Onion. I've seen it Tweeted bunch of times. And it's been illuminating how feeble people are and eager they are at using anything to take a swipe. No one gives two craps about The Onion. So of course they chime in on the Packers. Why? Because Packers get attention. 🤦‍♂️ People don't learn haha.

BUT whatever floats folks boats. Just not my thing is all. 😊

What's your(anyone) favourite way to consume onions? Onion rings are obviously pretty popular. I'll say this- I prefer a raw onion crunching in my sandwich or burger than I do sautéed onions. But those are outstanding too. Perhaps the satirical website is the magnificent veggie's lowest form.
