If we had a player on the team with the initials "T.O." and we called him that, for short, it wouldn't mean we were calling him Terrell Owens.

His name is Aaron Rodgers. His first initial is A, followed by the first few letters of his last name, Rod give him the nickname/moniker, A-Rod.

That's the best I can come up with. Hopefully he becomes more famous (for the right reasons) than Alex Roidriguez.

Frankly, I will never call Aaron Rodgers A-Rod. As far as we can tell, our quarterback has impeccable character. The mere association with a player whose entire career has been built upon a lie drives me up a wall. Not to mention it's simply not an original nickname, so I think we should come up with something new.

But I won't judge anyone who chooses to call him that. I just refuse to partake.
