I am getting nervous about this game. I hope we go in with a chip on our shoulder and ready for an alley fight.
Go Packers!!!!

Giants have been thriving on creating turnovers during their recent wins. If GB has 1 turnover or less and consistently gets after the QB behind a poor Giants oline, they'll win this game.
Under Construction!

The line has dropped Packers are favored by 5-1/2
The Over/Under is 37.
Weather could be a factor.

With The Lions loss yesterday, any chance of a "trap" game has gone out the door.
Lefleur will have theses guys laser focused.

Defense keeps Barcley under 75yds and out of the endzone.
They get 2 picks.
Dillon has a big night.J-10VE goes for 250yds 2tds 0int.
Take The Packers, give the points.
Take the under.
Packers 24
Giants 6

Book It!!

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

The Packers are awesome at making 3rd stringers look like hall of famers. You’re supposed to be able to make his life hell, especially behind that terrible OL. Instead, he had all day to get rid of it and consistently rushed up the middle all game long, with no adjustments made.

Not to mention the soft coverage at the end of the game when we were only up 1. Gave the game away.

MLF also called an awful game. I’ve never seen so many damn jet sweeps/reverses. Awful.

I never seen the team play so bad in every facet of the game. Everyone stunk the whole game. MLF running 20 jet sweeps with Reed including the damn 2 point try??!!?!?!

Love just horrible all game until his last throw. Defense allowing the Giants to score 24 points when they have one of the worse offenses in the league.

Joe fucking Barry playing soft zone while only up 1 point and they get 60 yards in 3 plays.....

ST sucked, Offense sucked, Defense sucked, and coaches sucked. Just horrible all around...

I would also like to add that Carlson doesn’t look like the future as of right now. He needs to turn it around quick or else he might be on the street next year. This whole missing one field goal/XP per game is getting old. And the ones that he does make are near misses.

His missed field goal tonight was the difference in the game.

The offense was frustrating, but the defense even more... How do you let a running back and a guy who can barely throw past the line of scrimmage beat you? If there was a game on the schedule that screamed pass rush and cover the short routes - this was is it... instead we give them the patented 10 yard cushion and let them gain easy yards underneath.

This is the first time in a while that I've actually gotten mad about a loss. Why? Because they got their asses whooped by a clown who throws a ball about as well as me.

Jim Mora said:

What a disappointing performance!! This game was not as close as the score would have indicated. They stomped us.

We are what our record says we are.....a below average team. The Panthers are the only likely win for the rest of the season

Offensively:
- way too much pressure on Love
- Love - highly inaccurate for much of the night, especially early. Several obvious misses. It's windy... fire the ball!!
- Love -HORRIBLE decision on the interception....inexcusable
- Love - fumbles don't hack it....get the yardage you can and go down
- Left tackle (whichever) stunk. Right guard (whichever) poor.
- Penalties....c'mon guys it wasn't that loud
- Play calling poor at best. MLF, by the 3rd quarter they had adjusted to the jet sweep...AND TO CALL IT ON THE 2PT ATTEMPT WAS UNFATHOMABLY STUPID!!!
- Kraft is a keeper
- Taylor, hey dumb ass!!! For the second week in a row we had to waste a timeout because you are too dumb to get out of bounds.

Defense:
- Shut down Barkley, until crunch time. Had he not coughed up the ball, we would be able to complain about the...
- Soft coverage up by 1 point letting go down the field nearly effortlessly, like a hot knife through butter.
- Our history of cluelessness against running quarterbacks continues. They stink at passing and we did not see that coming?!?!?
- Were there any pressures the whole game?!?!? A couple at best against a poor Offensive line
- Gary, a no-show (sure glad we re-upped him for big bucks) until he lost his jock on a read option letting the QB run for 20 yards
- Van Ness looking like a 4 round pick. Soft against the run. CRUSHED on the TD sweep around his end. He stunk.
- Pass rush did not keep any lane control. The little Jersey kid could run up the gut on any pass rush he wanted.
- Clearly we miss our starting corners.
- McDuffie started strong, but filled gaps poorly as the game went on
- Too many missed tackles to count.
- Valentine is a back-up. Ballantine even less so. Savage a no-show

Special Team
- Too many penalties....low Wonderlic's a factor no doubt
- Nixon...here is an idea....when you fumble a punt....FALL ON IT
- Carlson, stop thinking so damn much and just kick the crap out of the ball....YEESH
- Who told him to pooch the kick off so close to the sideline.? Had the Giant player not been an idiot that would have gone Out of Bounds

OUTPLAYED, OUTCOACHED, OUT FOUGHT

The wins against the Lions and Chiefs, as noted in previous posts, are not as good as we thought. We were too full of ourselves.

I guess we should expect it with a young team, but we crapped the bed on this one. Short week before we get spanked by Tampa.
Go Packers!!!!

beast (12-Aug) : I believe Musgrave has been injured every single season since at least a Sophomore in highschool
packerfanoutwest (12-Aug) : Matt LaFleur: “Highly unlikely” Jordan Love plays more this preseason
dfosterf (12-Aug) : Doubs, Savion Williams, LVN, Musgrave all banged up to one degree or another, missing one here I forget

TheKanataThrilla (9-Aug) : NFL Network is broadcasting the game tonight, but not in Canada. Not sure why as no local television is showing the game.
beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Zero- Did you see what I posted about Voice of Reason and his wife? She posted over at fleaflicker that they are both "In"
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : Well, not crazy, it makes sense. Crazy I didn't notice/find it earlier
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : it's crazy how one stored procedure to get data bogged everything down for speed here
dfosterf (7-Aug) : to herd cats or goldfish without a bowl. They reminded me of the annual assembly of our fantasy league
dfosterf (7-Aug) : out on a field trip, outfitting them with little yellow smocks. Most of the little folk were well behaved, but several were like trying
dfosterf (7-Aug) : Yesterday my wife and I spent the afternoon on the waterfront here in Alexandria, Va. A daycare company took about 15 three/four year olds
