Never a doubt. My pick validates!

This was a signature spectacular win:
- we were without 46% of our salary cap players
- Love was great. Other than a late miss to Watson, he was awesome
- O line was terrific in pass protection. Special mention to Zack Tom who neutralized Hutchinson all day
- Special Teams were great. Other than the miss on the extra point, they were great. punts excellent and a huge stop on a fake punt.
- Dline was AWESOME! Pressure all day on Goff (albeit against a banged up Lions Oline)
- DBs without the top 3 on the depth chart going into the season was excellent
- kudos to MLF for being aggressive
- kudos to Joe Barry who called a great game
- kudos to Bisaccia for a great game

also forget to mention
- Watson made 3 'high point' catches today, more than the rest of the season combined. If he can keep this up, we have the makings of a really strong young up and coming receiving corp.
- Kraft stepped up. If he and Musgrave are both healthy it would be great.
Go Packers!!!!

Late pass to Watson. Love was stepping backwards with pressure. He got the ball to a spot no one could get to it and didn't take a sack. Although sack would keep clock running.

Yeah, the Lions still looked great to get back in the game despite so many errors. But Packers definitely forced some of those errors!

Great job linemen!

I also think the Lions might of came into the game sleeping a bit, not sure if that's due to it being Thursday, or if the Lions are just getting into slow starts, as it happened to the Bears too.

Hopefully the Packers can beat the Vikings for 2nd place in the division (since we're not getting a top 5 pick)

Was on the road the entire time the game was playing and for whatever reason I couldn't find it at all on AM radio. So my game recollection was something like this:
-Stopping to use a bathroom and get a giant coffee, see GB wins toss and elects to receive. "Hmmmm normally MLF defers there, piss must be hot and he wants to set the tempo to avoid a repeat of week 4"
-After purchasing coffee, check score again and see GB already up 7-0! Giddy but worried as a Joe Barry defense looms
-7-6 by the time I get back to my car.
-Get in car and back to driving, check score again after a few minutes and see it update to 14-6! Giddy!
-Keep driving, check score again and see 20-6! GIDDY!
-Rest of the drive was me checking my phone every 5 minutes for a quick look (note: not smart I know but thankfully the Bluegrass and West Kentucky Parkways had sparse traffic)
-After cursing Barry for allowing the Lions off the 1 yard line, I caught the update that showed 4th down with a manageable distance. I immediately think, "WATCH THE FAKE!" An image of nerdmann posting in chat screaming "WATCH THE FAKE!" then appeared. Lions run a fake and it turns out that GB ST did indeed watch the fake.
-See 4th down attempt deep in GBs territory. See GB ball 1st and 10. Feet stomping in car while hollering
-See time winding down in the 4th, see late TD and onside recovery. Aggressive foot stomping and hollering.
-Probably for the better that I couldn't listen to the game otherwise I would have gotten into a wreck from trying to do a cartwheel
-Get home, see highlights and read reactions. Constant fist pumps and more hollering.

What a victory. When Green Bay was stumbling last month I couldn't help but peek at the schedule and see this game looming. I couldn't help but think that this game would be a Thanksgiving horror show on par with 2013. Perhaps worse since there we were still trying to figure out Jordan Love. The offense was struggling to string together consecutive first downs. People already wanting to shut Love down and go for broke to get a higher pick.

Then the offense started showing signs of life and then today happened. Is this team going to win a Super Bowl if they make a late season run? No. But I'd rather the young guys go out and play their asses off and win a game like this and use it for the future than worry about a draft spot. Worrying about playing too well for a future draft spot is how you end up a loser franchise for decades like Detroit, Carolina, Arizona etc. So fuck your tanking.

And Jordan Love?

Just inject what he did today into my veins. I was in the "start him every game and make a call at the end of the year guy." Now I'm all aboard the Love is THE GUY train. Just work on the long ball in the offseason. Also, shame on FOX for not having a turkey leg for Love.

Saw this yesterday and thought it absurd. Tonight? I'm channeling my Ozzy

BARK AT THE MOON PACKER FANS BECAUSE THIS WAS ONE FUCKING AMAZING THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!

So where was the Madden turkey leg for JLove? Fox failed big time. Makes them love cheap and inept.

buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.

packerfanoutwest (26-Jan) : well, he was
TheKanataThrilla (26-Jan) : Eagles down by contact on the fumble....fuck you NFL
Mucky Tundra (26-Jan) : I think this games over
beast (26-Jan) : Eagles sure get a lot of fumbles on kickoffs
Mucky Tundra (26-Jan) : This game looks too big for Washington
packerfanoutwest (26-Jan) : that being said, The Ravens are the Browns
packerfanoutwest (26-Jan) : Browns, Dolphins have longest AFC Championship droughts
packerfanoutwest (26-Jan) : As of today, Cowboys have longest NFC Championship drought,
beast (26-Jan) : Someone pointed out, with Raiders hiring Carroll, the division games between Carroll and Jim Harbaugh are back on (who can whine more games)
beast (26-Jan) : I'm confused, Pete Carroll and Brian Schottenheimer? When Todd Monken, Joe Brady, Kellen Moore, Kliff Kingsbury and Zac Robinson are availab

Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.

beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
