The Packers made it pretty clear they're gonna ride it out with him all of 2023. I say this because there wasn't really any competition.

I'm not sure if it's holding that's the issue or between his ears. Somethings up. I can handle missing 50+ yard FG attempts a lot more reasonably than XP attempts. The XP has to feel automatic. And even his makes feel edgy. I'm not in my twenties anymore and can't be stressing over one point kicks dammit.

I need to see improvement on the XP and FG to feel gooder. Yeah, he don't care, but it'd my opinion.

I think if he continues to be inconsistent then we'll see a veteran push him in 2024. It's really his job to lose. And seems like he's trying to do just that lol

In November Carlson has been
~ 7 of 10 on Extra Points
~ 6 of 9 on all FGs
~ 5 of 5 under 40 yard attempts
~ 1 of 4 on 40+ yard attempts

I think you are correct. As I was reading this I was thinking he had two X pt blocked but perhaps the other block was a FG attempt
Somebody keeps track of that stuff. I don't feel up to searching for it.

He also missed like a 30 yarder at the end of a half (don’t remember which game) but he got bailed out by the opposing team because they were offsides, so he got another shot and made it.

I’m not impressed with him thus far. As Zero said, even a lot of his makes are barely good.
