Gentlemen,

Irrespective of the balance of the season, which I’m sure will have its ups and downs, I don’t think we can underestimate the importance of this win for Jordan Love.

No one can ever take a memory of this comback away from him.

He was without his best receiver, his best offensive weapon, and his two best linemen. It would’ve been very easy to have folded and said. “oh well”.

The kid stood in there with poise. He clearly did not dwell on missing Musgrave in the first half. He sucked it up and went out there and really did a hell of a job.

Did we get a friendly call or two, maybe, but nevertheless, the kid got it done when it counted.

But the amount of confidence this victory will instill in him, and in his teammates for him, cannot be overstated.

I think we will look back on this win and say this was the beginning of his ascension to being a damn good quarterback in the NFL. Is he going to be Rodgers quality… who knows? But at this point I’m extremely glad he’s our guy.

Agreed.
He also didn't do the QB meltdown/pout when Taylor broke off his route or the dropped passes including the one that would have been a TD.
He just kept going and brought the rest of the offense along with him. That is real leadership and it will bear fruit.

Love also kept going back to guys like Reed and Toure even after they had some drops and it resulted in an amazing catch in the red zone by Reed and Toure snagged the 2 pt conversion.

Great points by all, but as for those friendly calls... I can't remember another game with flags like this. All the flags in the first half seemed to go against the Packers. Then second half all the flags seemed to be against the Saints.

And I think before the game they pointed out that the NFL has more closer games than ever before.

Sorry for the conspiracy, but I can't help but wonder if the NFL is somehow helping the games stay closer (ie Refs).

Not saying that's why they won, as Saints post suspensions and injuries kept causing PI on deep ball throws... and Saints (like Packers the week before) kept going three and out on offense which helped turn things around.

But the only time defense gave up a TD was after the offense went for it on 4th down and missed.

Also, Packers seriously need to stop hurting themselves on penalties and need to catch the damn ball when it's there to catch, on both offense and defense (but especially offense).

Agreed btw that this good for Love. Thought the Cowherds of the world were gonna start smack talking again. If we lose i still want Jlove to have looked great even if we lost. He looked pretty good by the end tho.

During the game I felt like maybe the illuminati were paying us back for last week. Dunno, seemed weird at the time. Definitely not complaining.
