Mike Florio has been banging this drum how it's unfair that rookies are picked rather then they pick the team. He has in the past related it to when you interview for a job, you pick your employer.

I think it's an asinine idea to let rookies choose where they play. It seems like the good will become better and the bad will become worse. Creating a very top heavy and bottom heavy league.

If the NFL were to do away with the NFL Draft. How the hell would that work to make parity still be a thing?

The teams collectively give each player a round (1st, 2nd, etc) grade and each team can only sign one player for each round?

The best part of the NFL is that teams are so close to each other in talent because of the draft and cap.

And the players already do have a choice, if they don't like the NFL method, they can go to the CFL, XFL, Arena league, nothing says they have to play in the NFL, they can choose another league if they want, so the players do have a choice.

Also, I don't know about other workplaces, but my workplace has limitations on certain freedoms that veterans get, until you hit a certain a certain promotion point.

Also, since I work for a large company, I agreed to work there, but they got to assignment to which subgroup that I worked for.

With the CBA, the NFL works as a single business, if the players don't like it, then they should disband the union, or force the union to not agree to anymore future CBAs.

If teams could pick any locations, then they're picking the locations with lowest tax rates, and probably best chance to either win and/or party.

So California (taxes), Northern teams (Weather/taxes) are screwed.

Florio doesn't think the CBA is fair... tell him to cry a river, because he's not an Owner, he's not a Player Union member, he's not even an agent. The CBA does not effect him, and if he wants to show us an example of choosing where he works, he can choose to leave his current job, and probably become one of the Union's lawyers. Hell, he's probably willing to help the Unions lawyers now for free (to a degree, or in exchange for some insider access).

And I do agree with him, the Union should of been able to get more, that fact that they're not at 50% of the profit has to be disappointing to the players and based on the last discussions, they're probably not going to get 50% in the next one either unless they strike.

Um, it's Florio so there's that.
He's wrong from his first premise. People don't pick where they work. They pick where they want to apply/interview. It's still up to the business to choose them or not. Now someone may want to work for Coke and not Pepsi. As such they have the option of not submitting an application to Pepsi Co. But I guarantee if they were out of work for 5 years and the only company hiring was Pepsi, they would apply there.

Next the NFL doesn't follow the same rules as regular Corporate America. If they did, the would have been slapped with collusion (More times than they already have). Unfair trade practices. Being a monopoly and a bunch of other bad things. They were given a pass in order to function more efficiently.

Zero2Cool (11h) : If we add Isaiah Simmons, book your Super Bowl tickets
Mucky Tundra (11h) : Colts 1st round TE Tyler Warren also got prank called, was that Jax Ulbrich as well?
Zero2Cool (11h) : Jax Ulbrich, Jeff Ulbrich’s son, released an apology for his role in the Shedeur Sanders prank call.
Martha Careful (12h) : apparently he did not participate in practice or play on the east west shrine game nor the NFL combine. The kid was a mediocre spoiled brat
Mucky Tundra (12h) : Yeah that one that was a super wounded duck that Sanders supporters are highlighting to prove a point
Zero2Cool (12h) : Shough is the guy who missed guys at combine isn't he?

Martha Careful (25-Apr) : No thanks. Not a dependable guy to be in the right place and run the right route. Dumb as a box of rocks.
Zero2Cool (25-Apr) : Losing 2nd round pick for a one year rental, not ideal. Especially a headcase.
