Below are the 46 players that are consensus picks to be “roster locks” heading into Tuesday’s cutdown deadline:

QB: Jordan Love and Sean Clifford (2)

RB: Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon (2)

WR: Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Malik Heath and Dontayvion Wicks (5)

TE/FB: Luke Musgrave, Josiah Deguara and Tucker Kraft (3)

OL: David Bakhtiari, Elgton Jenkins, Josh Myers, Jon Runyan Jr., Zach Tom, Rasheed Walker, Yosh Nijman, Sean Rhyan and Caleb Jones (9)

DL: Kenny Clark, Devonte Wyatt, T.J. Slaton, Colby Wooden and Karl Brooks (5)

OLB: Rashan Gary, Preston Smith, Kingsley Enagbare, Lukas Van Ness and Justin Hollins (5)

ILB: De’Vondre Campbell, Quay Walker and Eric Wilson (3)

CB: Jaire Alexander, Rasul Douglas, Keisean Nixon and Carrington Valentine (4)

I'm sure we can absolutely argue if some of these should be considered locks or not (OL Rhyan, OL Jones, OLB Hollins, ILB/ST Wilson, S/ST Leavitt and which Punters to go with), but to keep this simpler one could just accept these 46.

Which leaves 7 spots left on the 53 man roster. And you can just pick 7 players from the list below, which is in order of how many mock rosters they were on, at least of the mocks that this article looked at.

Also, whom left ILB McDuffie and WR Toure off the 53 mock, and why? Traded? Released? I feel like they (especially McDuffie) might be more of a lock than those I questioned if they were locks above. Toure mainly only would be quested if they like DuBose potential more, but he's less ready now.

Here are the players that vary, the non-consensus selections who were projected to make the active roster on at least one of the nine articles. They are listed below, in order of how many final rosters they were included in out of the nine that were observed:

My 7 guess would be
1) ILB McDuffie
2) WR Toure
3) OLB Cox
4) CB Ballentine
5) S Moore
6) RB Taylor (for STs taking TE Davis snaps)
7) ILB Mosby (for STs)

Also I noticed that TE Sternberger was released, and PFF suggested he did good on STs. Maybe try to bring him in and see if the ST coach likes him. But maybe that's PS. Sternberger also won an XFL Championship with Packers current #3 QB Alex McGough, which they were both star starters on that team.
