One of the off-season questions had to do with Fred Bledsoe and his adding 20 lbs.

Perfectly sized him for a Nose Tackle, but the weight in that short of a time frame prompted me to ask, "Twinkies or Titanium?"

The answer seems to have arrived on the very first day an answer could be had.

He did us a great service in the "off" off-season. He gave us some paper hope in the event the position wasn't addressed in the draft, etc. For that, I thank him for his contribution.

Well, I guess it was a long shot to begin with, being a practice squad member nearly his entire career.

I was hoping he could provide some depth, but with us looking at others practice squad members (Soi) and drafting Raji 9th overall, there's really no place for him, I guess. Still, a shame.

Are we still having our hopes up for Alfred Malone?
