Like that deep throw to Watson last week, this route should probably be run closer to the numbers, maybe just outside of them. Doubs is not giving the QB enough space to put it on his outside shoulder.
The DB is using the sideline to defend against the pass. Doubs adjusted well, as it was slightly underthrown and dragged his foot for the completion. He made a good play.
However I suspect these guys gotta sharpen up their routes. Defender wants to put them off, but they gotta get past him and get where they're supposed to be. Rookies are watching them, to see how to do it.
