I keep seeing these people saying noone wants Lamar because it will cost tons of money but also cost you 2 1st round picks. I am guessing it would be a 1st this year and a 1st next year. They are also saying teams feel like they are the ones that would be doing the work for Baltimore with the negotations as they Ravens can match any offer given. So I started thinking and where would a good landing spot be for Jackson and I came up with the Lions. They have the #6, 18, 48 and 55 this year. They also have $25.5 million in cap space right now. I am hearing Jackson wants guaranteed money so maybe like a 3 year $150 million guaranteed could do it. The Ravens only have $7 million cap space so they couldn't take that big of a hit. Maybe the Lions turn around and front load the contract for this year to prevent the Ravens from matching, also by doing that if he does get hurt you have him cheaper the last 2 years.
I am thinking the Lions send 18th this year and the 1st in 2024 which likely would be in the 20's as they should make the playoffs. Then maybe send Goff to the Jets or Titans for a 2nd rounder.
I think this could be a possibility but as Kevin says I say fear the Lions every year lol.
What do you guys think?
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
