We got what, 5 games left? We can get to 9 wins and have a shot at a wildcard berth.

Not trying to jinx us.

Watson seems to have finally flipped the switch. And now we're getting Doubs back too. The problem has been no deep threat, but we've got that now. Secondarily, guys weren't adapting their routes correctly. But Doubs and Watson seem to have been able to develop thst awareness.

We don't need Watkins out there pulling his hammys and not knowing the playbook. We got Cobb for the underneath stuff, Lazard for intermediate. We should be able to run a fair percentage of our offense.

It all starts on Sunday, but I think it's more likely than we think. I won't question which QB gives us a better chance to win under pressure, but the playoffs start now for us. We gotta win out, THEN we can think about bouncing the Vikes out of the playoffs.

But I do consider it to be more possible than people realize. (And I still think we should stick with the run.)

The simplest,  not easiest,  for this week anyway, is for The Giants to get beat and The Seahawks get beat .
The Packers can finish 9-8, they will need for 2 or more other teams to finish 9-8.
The Packers lose head ro head tie breakers with most teams, but if there are 3 or more who finish 9-8 that are in contention for the wild card, The Packers win most of those scenarios.
The Packers win Sunday, then the puzzle will get a little clearer depending on the outcome of other games.

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

They have a 3% chance of making the playoffs, they actually have a better chance of getting the #1 overall pick. We can win out and we need alot of help thus the 3% lol. Just start playing for next year and see what we have with Love and Watson and Doubs.  Just think Hurts got what 173 yards on us imagine what Fields is going to put up lol.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

But they aren't.

This team is different, because the rookies are playing better now. We have a legit-ish passing attack. We did not have that earlier in the season.

If the earlier season Packers showed up, I would assume we would lose. This is not that team.

As for a high draft pick, I'd rather knock the Vikings out of the playoffs on their home turf.

At this point we're better off playing younger guys to get stuff on film to work on in the offseason (Watkins shouldn't see the field unless we're lining up 5 WR).

Can the Packers beat the Dolphins and Vikings in back to back weeks?

PS: Currently, even if the Packers go 5-0... they still miss the playoffs unless Seahawks get upset by the Rams or Panthers.

And even if that does happen... Packers go face the Vikings... and a lost to the Vikings in the playoffs isn't worth it...

But what if it's not the Vikings... then it's the 49ers...

Rebuilding makes so much more sense than chasing the fairly tale that the Packers might win the big one this year.

No thanks. I’d rather have a good draft pick than make the playoffs and get embarrassed again and give all the media (and you) more ammunition about how Rodgers can’t win in the playoffs.

This is not a playoff team, and certainly not a Super Bowl team. Might as well take advantage of the opportunity and get a high draft pick.

If Packers are so bad at drafting, why the hell would you want to lose to get higher draft slot? I'll take some wins and a spot in the playoffs. Who knows what will happen. Look at 2010 and so many were saying same damn thing back then. Can this team turn it around? I doubt it. That 2010 team was NEVER more than 7 points behind in any NFL game.

I agree with those saying this is not a Super Bowl team. I would still like to get into the playoffs and ruin at least one other team's Super Bowl run. e.g. Vikings. 😁😁

Zero2Cool (10h) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (14h) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (14h) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (15h) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (15h) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (15h) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (15h) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (15h) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (15h) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (15h) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (15h) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (15h) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
    Zero2Cool (16h) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16h) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16h) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16h) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (17h) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (18h) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (18h) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
    Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
    Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
    Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
    wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Struggling to figure out what text editor options are needed and which are 'nice to have'
Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
    Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
