Well, in his defense, apparently the Bears told the kid to stand by his phone aswell. Then again, they're the Bears.

I don't think that this'll go down as one of the better of Oakland's drafts, but we'll see.

Yeah I heard the Bears wanted him in the 2nd/3rd range and that another team was rumored had a 3rd round grade on him. But seems like more teams are rumored to have thought he was an UDFA though...

But it only takes one.... BTW from just one little clip I've seen of him the kid hit harder than Bigby... of course that was only one clip and I've seen Bigby do it over and over and over where I just know of him doing it once.

I have this Motley Crue song in my head now.

Girl, don't go away mad, Girl just go away!

Really Dhaze, with all the Ted bashing you do, you deserve all this and more. The Packers just had a great draft, be happy for once.

I like hazer........but the Ted Thompson bashing at every opportunity is getting old. You'd think Ted Thompson was "Matt Millen" the way Hazer talks.

It ALL boils down to ONE thing, and ONE thing ONLY.
Hazer feels Ted Thompson "forced" Favre out of GB. (Even though Favre said himself that Ted Thompson and MM had NOTHING to do with his CHOICE to quit).
So even if the Packers won the super bowl this year, that wouldn't matter one bit to Hazer.
He will hate Ted Thompson no matter HOW well the team does.

I like Dave. He served as a private DJ one night to brighten up private time for me and my wife. That was fun. :D

(Of course, she was almost certainly already in the mood before he played the music, but it's the thought that counts, right?) 😉

He has alot of good things to say.
He just lets that blind hatred of Ted Thompson get into everything, and it just gets old.
Has Ted Thompson made all moves 100% great?
No.
But NO GM in the entire NFL gets all their moves right. Not ONE.
So you have to set goals, but they have to be realistic.
I've seen the pick of Raji and not Crabtree compared to the pick of Tony Manderich over Barry Sanders.
Now........maybe it will end up being more true then not, but it may turn out the opposite.
But to compare those two drafts at this point is MORE then just plain unreasonable.

Naw, it has been old for quite some time. I have gotten to the point that I just skim his posts. And that is too bad for me). I know he has something to add to the forum and I miss out on them.
I am not ready to toss Ted on the scrap heap at this time. I certainly would have perferred GB's record under his management to have been better that what it is but to say that it is all his fault over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and (well you get the idea.) It is more than a little tiresome. And for the record, a winning season this year does not cure all woes either.

Sure it does. Winning is all that matters (as long as we don't cheat to win, but that's assumed). Why do people like Majik so much? He was the only QB besides Lynn Dickey to have a winning season since 1972 (until Favre).

Fans remember winning. As they should. That's what we want, isn't it?

I didn't say it exactly right. What I meant to say is if GB has a winning season, that doesn't give Ted a pass on being held accountable for his moves over the next 5 years. 2-3 years perhaps but not 5.
I guess it also depends on their record. If they are 9-7 and miss the payoffs that gives Ted & Co 1 yr of leeway. 19-0 and wins the SB gives him more latitude.

dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
    Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"

dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?

Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
    Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately

dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
