I am wondering if this defense is more accustomed to running Douglas and Stokes on the outside and running Jaire in the slot? As you said some slot CBs you mentioned are slow and we know Jaire isn't slow so let's move him to the slot and let the defense roll that way. It worked last year why change up the plan? Thoughts as you are awesome with the numbers.

But there is a reason the Packers don't do this and one of the announcers has mentioned it, and sounded like they got it from the Packers coaches... and that reason is run fits and the run game.
The slot CB has to run fit and play physical in the run game and battle TEs and sometimes OL in that regard, and while I don't think anyone doubts Alexander's mental willingness to do this... the question remains, would his smaller frame hold up? Especially after the injury last year or was it two days ago?
The Packers seem to want to keep Alexander safe by not forcing his body into extra run battles, and that's one reason Gute mentioned putting Douglas these this off-season, he's a bigger body and smart.
Personally, I've always wondered what Savage would look like in the slot, as in very limited small samples he has looked like he'd be amazing, but we just haven't had the quality S depth to take him away from S.
