The Vikings, Bears, Cowboys and Packers worked him out at SDSU's pro day a couple weeks ago. Since then, he's had private workouts with the Panthers and Colts, and is headed back to Indianapolis on Wednesday for a second look.
"When the scouts come, they want you to run routes," Harris says. "And if you can run them crisp and get in and out of your breaks, that's what it is all about at receiver, and that's what they all stress the most."
Harris is known as a speed guy, and would be a perfect fit for a team looking for a deep threat. He ran a 4.35 in the 40-yard dash at SDSU's pro day. Had he done that at the NFL Combine, it would have put him in the top four.
He has also run back kicks....very good hands.
