every year we hear same thing..There is no curse.

Yet every year that cover boy has some odd things happen to him.

His injury worries from college finally come to fruition, the Vikings trade him, and he has a long and prosperous career somewhere outside of Minnesota, Chicago, or Detroit.

Also, if Fitzgerald is on the cover I believe he will be the first player to be on both the NCAA cover and Madden cover.

Biggest problem for opposing defenses is, like you said, that you can't possibly put too much effort in covering Fitz, because you'll be opening tons of space up for Bolding, Breaston and Urban. It should be even more worse for the defenses this year, since they should have a decent RB now. If he can stay healthy.
