I'll arrange these by position of need a little better. WR I put at the top, although in the 1st, I'd look for OT/Edge.

Remember they need a 3rd safety for Barry's D, and btw I love Amos, but he's not getting any younger. He's still got it, but it never hurts to plan for the future. Just sayin.

I am thinking that a Safety will be a surprise pick. It will certainly depend on how the picks come off the board, but I wouldn't be surprised if pick #28 is a Safety. I could see Cine or Hill being the selection if they are available.

How are you defining position of need? Contract? Talent? Future depth? Free Agency? If you're going by 2022 roster, then your definition of need is already a failure. No successful team drafts for the current year outside of MAYBE top half of 1st round.

We need an Edge guy, some pass catchers. Some positions take longer to develop, but also some guys are a little more or less ready. Wouldn't mind some depth at OT.

The Packers need elite speed. Lazard is the fastest WR on the roster right now. Drake London ducked running a 40 for a reason, he is slow!

Chris Olave fits the bill. If you like London because he is a little bigger, then you have Christian Watson, who is similar in size to London but much faster.

Not saying you were referring to the Packers situation in having London over Olave, but I just don't like Drake London at all. Not running a 40 really confirmed for me that I don't like him as a person or a player.

I do want Gute to somehow pull Olave and Watson out of this draft. I really do love the thought of a Lazard, Watkins, Olave, Cobb, Christian Watson, and Amari Rodgers WR room.

Your comments are all correct. I was rattling nerdmann's chain. More than likely he only laughed to himself and ignored it.Thing is, there are big boards out there with London rated higher than Olave.

I did a quick check. The first one I went to was PFF. London is 13 and Olave 21. I realize you are not a big PFF fan. This validates your position on both issues. Thus I didn't bother look at any of the other boards. Mainly because it doesn't really matter. I am not defending London over Olave. I am not sure Gute would either. In the long run his is the only board that matters. I would love to see it pre-draft.
