I was listening to a podcast that compares him to Lazard.
Lazard is 6-5 227 Watkins is 6-1 211.
Both have similar PFF blocking grades. Lazard edges him out.
Lazard receptions 40/60 513 yards. 8 TD (His best year ever.) 12.8 yards per reception.
Watkins 27/49 394 yards 1 TD (His worst year ever.) 14.6 yards per reception is solid.

I can see Lazard getting more targets with Tae gone. I can also see Watkins getting more targets with GB.
The podcast also thought wouldn't it be interesting if Watkins and Lazard were the lead blockers on a WR screen with whoever the new speedy draft pick is? They both take out the DBs across the LOS and let the rookie motor. It would be fun to watch.
